Shelley Cobb (PI) and Linda Ruth Williams (Co-I) led a team of six women working to support the research goals of Calling the Shots.
The AHRC’s generous funding of Calling the Shots supported research time for Shelley and Linda, as well as a full-time research fellow for three years, two fully-funded PGR students, and a two-year lecturer post.
Shelley Cobb and Linda launched the project in September 2014. Natalie Wreyford was the project’s Research Fellow; she was contracted from September 2015 to August 2018. Our two PhD candidates,Ania Ostrowska and Sarah Smyth,started at Southampton in September 2015. Beth Carroll is a Lecturer in Film and Literature, whose two-year contract was funded by the grant.
